Your screening answers stay in your browser

We do not send your answers or individual score to a server, save them in a database, or attach them to a referral. They stay in memory while you use the page. We do not save screening responses in cookies or browser storage.

Refreshing or leaving the page clears the active check. If you print or save your results, you control that copy. Consider where you save it if you are using a shared device.

A small record of portal referrals

When a visitor follows a link to the Better Behavioral intake portal, the referral system records the date and time, the selected state, and the destination portal version. Each record also identifies Check My Mental Health as the referring website and resource. It does not identify which assessment or page you used. An internal record number identifies the click, not the person.

The referral record does not contain your name, contact details, IP address, browser fingerprint, visitor ID, questionnaire answers, or score. Repeat clicks are counted as clicks; we do not build visitor profiles or match these events to patient records.

Other resource links are untracked

Links to national and state resources, crisis support, and telephone or text services go directly to those destinations. We do not record clicks on them. This site does not include advertising pixels, session replay, or third-party analytics scripts.

Once you leave this site, the destination’s own privacy practices apply. A care provider may ask for personal information as part of intake. That information is separate from this site’s screening experience.

About this preview

The website and referral integration are still being prepared for public launch. Hosting practices, referral-record retention, and the final contact process will be documented before launch. We are not presenting this preview as a promise that every future infrastructure provider keeps no technical logs.
